Sergio Benvenuto

Sergio Benvenuto is a psychoanalyst, former researcher in social psychology at CNR (Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche) in Rome. He is president of the Elvio Fachinelli Institute - ISAP (Institute of Advanced Studies in Psychoanalysis). In 1995 he founded and directed the "European Journal of Psychoanalysis" and is editor of American Imago and Psychoanalytic Discourse. His most recent publications include: Leggere Freud (Orthotes 2018); Conversations with Lacan (Routledge 2020); La ballata del mangiatore di cervella (Orthotes 2020).
