Giacomo Marramao

Giacomo Marramao studied Philosophy at the University of Florence and Social Sciences at the University of Frankfurt. Visiting Professor at several universities in Europe, America and Asia, is currently Emeritus Professor of Theoretical Philosophy at the University of Rome III and member of the Collège International de Philosophie (Paris). Among the main awards: the "Palmes Académiques" by the Presidency of the French Republic; the title of Professor honoris causa from the University of Bucharest; the title of Doctor honoris causa in Philosophy and Linguistics from the Universidad Nacionál de Córdoba; the "Karl-Otto Apel" International Philosophy Award.
